This website (Revenue Management System or RMS) and its content are fully owned by Department of Revenue, Government of Himachal Pradesh, which is a “public authority” as defined in Right to Information Act, 2005. Consequently, such information is freely available to any citizen under the Act.

Much of the information in the website is of transactional nature.

Much of the information in the website pertain to cases belonging to other parties, including citizens and other entities. Part of such information might be exempted from the ambit of Right to Information under Section 8.

Acts, Rules, Notifications, Orders and other public documents are for public consumption and are freely available for all to use. The Government desires the free use and wide dissemination of such information.
